The FAKUMA international trade fair for plastics processing celebrated its 30th anniversary with a record-breaking event in the fall of 2011: 1672 exhibitors from 33 countries presented their companies on 915,000 square feet of overall exhibition floor space and fully occupied the entire Friedrichshafen Exhibition Centre. With 44,823 expert visitors from 119 countries, 30% of whom came from outside of Germany (as opposed to 23% in 2009), FAKUMA 2011 has once again achieved top scores. As the world's most important plastics trade fair in 2011, it has thus more than lived up to the expectations of the industry at all levels.
